I have always felt so close, scared, and comforted by this idea of taking away all senses for hours on end, but what makes this more beautiful is using it it an erotic way in private with a loved one or alone. I love that fact that it scares me to even think about being alone in darkness, but that is why I love this idea; to not be afraid because all you have is your mind and control over your whole being while this is happening to you. It's so beautiful and calming.
